At the Centre for Dialogue, Research, and Cooperation (CDRC), we drive knowledge, dialogue, and influence through impactful programs and initiatives. Our work is structured around six key areas:

CDRC conducts in-depth studies on political, security, and socio-economic dynamics in the Horn of Africa, examining issues such as Gulf engagement, great power rivalries, and regional trends.

2. Conflict Trends Analysis in the Horn of Africa
We closely monitor evolving conflicts to inform stakeholders and support early warning and prevention strategies.

In partnership with Ethiopia’s Institute of Foreign Affairs, we offer specialized training—including crisis diplomacy—delivered by seasoned scholars and diplomats..

2. Internship Programs
Postgraduate students gain hands-on experience in geopolitics, peace, and security research. Interns receive mentorship and access to CDRC’s resources for academic and policy writing.

Multi-Track Dialogue Program:
Through strategic partnerships, CDRC engages in mediation, negotiation, and dialogue across Ethiopia and the Horn of Africa. Leveraging research and networks, we contribute to peacebuilding efforts and policy solutions at national, regional, and global levels.
